AND

My word - my concept - for 2023.

The word AND keeps showing up in my life over and over again.

So I'm embracing the AND of life.

I'm fire AND light.

I love AND I fight.

The world is filled with sorrow AND with joy.

Grief AND beauty.

I used to talk about loving the grey area between extremes. My friend Bun Lai called it a spectrum of color which is perfect because color captures possibilities.

AND is full of color and possibility and truth. It's a place to hide AND a place to explore. AND helps me jump out of judgment, of stuck, of binary choices. AND shows me that so much more is true at the same time.
